PhysFest: What To Expect

The address is: 65 Broadway, New York, NY 10003

Enter the building via the stairs or the ramp. There are two steps up from the sidewalk from the front door. The ramp is on the north side (right hand side) of the front door.

Stella Adler is located on the 2nd floor. When you enter, tell the front desk you are going up to Stella Adler and they will direct you to the rear bank of elevators.

Stella Adler occupies the entire 2nd floor. The space is ADA compliant and there are no stairs.

The two theaters are The Jimmy and The Betsy.

The front row of each theater is on the floor level. Each theater has risers for raked seating:

The other spaces we are using are The Sharif and Studio 240. Neither of these rooms have steps or risers.

The bathrooms are labeled: Men, Women, All-Gender, and Staff. Please use whichever bathroom you want to use, regardless of the label. The Staff bathroom is a single room, which is ADA compliant. The All-Gender bathroom has a changing table. The Women’s bathroom has all stalls. The Men’s bathroom has stalls and urinals. The All-Gender restroom has all stalls.

There is a water fountain and bottle refill station by the restrooms. Concessions are also available for sale by the box office.

We are following CDC COVID policies and providing masks for anyone who wants them at the Box Office. Please reach out to us directly if you would like to request an accommodation or consideration at: physfestnyc@gmail.com.

The panels are presented in spoken English. The opening party (Friday ⅕) and closing party (Sunday 1/14) will have ASL/English interpreters provided. ASL/English interpretation is available upon request. Due to the nature of the festival, we may not be able to offer interpretation for the performances, but we will gladly provide interpreters for the panels. Please reach out to us at least 3 business days prior to the event you want to attend with your request. We will make every effort to accommodate requests, even if received last-minute. Please contact BKBX's Access Advocate, Esti Bernstein, with requests or suggestions: bkbxsm@gmail.com.
